I have posted up some previews of the BoE Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting due today:
- The Bank of England monetary policy meeting is today - preview
- Bank of England meet Thursday - preview
Announcement due at 1100GMT
I thought I'd give a heads-up to this one too, from Reuters:
The focus will be on the statement:
"We believe it is highly unlikely that the MPC will raise rates in the next two years given ongoing Brexit uncertainties," said Mike Riddell, a fixed income portfolio manager at Allianz Global Investors."
Nevertheless, it is possible that the MPC's communications will attempt to jolt the market-implied rate higher."
