The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has a new governor

Adrian Orr will be new head of the RBNZ

Grant Spencer is currently Acting Governor (having replaced Graeme Wheeler who retired)

Orr begins his term on March 27 2018

Orr currently runs the New Zealand Superannuation Fund. He had been Reserve Bank Deputy Governor and Head of Financial Stability before leaving to run the fund back in 2007.
