Bitcoin has pretty much failed as a store of value or as a medium of exchange, Bank of England Governor Mark Carney said.

Bitcoin is up 10.7% to $11,168 and is up 88% from the lows in February.

There are certainly challenges on both transactions and volatility but it's way too early for a final verdict.
