Some notable option interest today again 8 March
Further to my daily post and other references here's the contracts in play and an update on price action so far as we head into 15.00 GMT
- EURUSD: 1.2300 (1.55bln) 1.2350 (700m)
- USDJPY: 106.00 (USD 1.1bln)
- GBPUSD: 1.3910-20 (540m)
- EURGBP: 0.8920 (EUR 310m)
- AUDUSD:0.7800 (350m)0.7825 (680m)
- USDCAD:1.2820 (USD 810m)
GBPUSD now 1.3866 after being capped a few times around 1.3900 as per my earlier posts, USDCAD fell to 1.2867 but 1.2820 seemingly a step too far now and back to 1.2885
USDJPY pinned close to 106.00 while EURUSD has some interest at 1.2350 and EURGBP at 0.8920.
Coincidences vis a vis current levels? I think not my friends.
More interest tomorrow to keep in mind. I did warn earlier in my ECB preview that EURUSD was going nowhere new in a hurry.

Remember these are vanilla options and in play right up until expiry even if breached in the meantime unlike barrier options which cease to be once broken. Barrier Options still live:

- USDJPY 105.00 104.00
