We'll have the deputy governor nominees' confirmation hearing at the lower house in parliament

The hearing is scheduled for 0515 GMT.

One of the nominees is Masayoshi Amamiya, otherwise known as Mr BOJ and Kuroda's right-hand man. It'll be interesting to watch if he repeats the same set of comments from Kuroda on Friday - concerning the timing of exiting easing policy.

The other is Masazumi Wakatabe, who is known to be a reflationist and probably more dovish than Kuroda himself. Not much is expected from Wakatabe, but if anything, it'll likely be more emphasis on the needs to continue "powerful monetary easing".
