BOJ JGB buying
- Buys JPY 190 bln of 10 - 25 Year JGBs in today's operation, compared to 200bn yen last time
- And buys JPY 80 bln 25+ Year, compared to 90bn last time
This'll be called 'tapering'. but the BOJ is targeting YCC now, not purchase amount targets so its not a shock. I'm still awaiting the Bank to actually say this (no longer a purchase amount target) but while they haven't said anything their actions are clear.
