Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates critisises the recent tax overhaul

In an interview with CNN over the weekend, Gates said that "the government should require the people in my position to pay significantly higher taxes".

According to Bloomberg, he is presently the second-richest person in the world - with a net worth of you know, just $92.0 billion, no biggie.

Anyway, Gates also laid into the GOP tax bill by saying "it was not a progressive tax bill, it was a regressive tax bill". He also argued that the benefits will be felt by the "super-rich", despite the government's insistence that the cuts will help the working and middle class citizens.

Regarding "rising inequality" in the country, Gates mentioned that "all advanced democracies have to think about that".

That last part is also something Adam talked about in his latest video (the 3 big problems in the world) here.
