According to Sun newspaper political editor, Tom Newton Dunn

Twitter has been full of headlines on UK politics today - as we are yet to await any official confirmation on the matter.

Earlier, BBC political Laura Kuenssberg mentioned (though with an unconfirmed caveat) that Chris Grayling was set to be the new chairman - in which she later tweeted that it should be Brandon Lewis instead according to her sources.

But again, no official confirmations just yet. It is also mentioned in her tweets that Patrick McLoughlin is confirmed to leave his post as chairman.

Update (1255 GMT): Kuenssberg tweets confirmation that Brandon Lewis is appointed as chairman and James Cleverly to be appointed as deputy.
