There are going to be a LOT of 'extension' of talks around Brexit issues in coming years. Like the most recent meeting with the EU where the next phase was rejected ... maybe they move on in December. But, no probs, AFAIK the Earth is not expected to plunge into the Sun for another 4bn years odd, so there is plenty of time left for further extensions.
