  • May's Florence speech was helpful but didn't clarify the future U.K.-EU relationship
  • The U.K. has sent 'significant signals" on its Brexit aims. At this point it remains insufficient to move on to phase two of talks but it's significantly more than last time
  • No more specifics were supplied on Brexit settlement
  • There is "zero indication" that Brexit talks won't succeed
