Bloomberg with headlines, citing an EU official

  • Still hoping for Brexit deal by October
  • Financial services debate is to be reflected in Brexit draft
  • Brexit transition will not be valid if there is no Irish border deal
  • There is still work to be done on Brexit transition

The key issue remains the Irish border and it sure looks like if there is no progress on that front, we won't be seeing any approval on the transition period by the EU.

There will be a EU Summit that will take place next week on 22-23 March where they will once again discuss on Brexit - and if there still isn't any progress by then, you have to wonder if we will see any progress at all for the matter.
