British Northern Ireland secretary James Brokenshire resigns

News according to the Sun newspaper. Brokenshire was appointed as Northern Ireland secretary in July 2016 under UK PM May's new cabinet. Sources say that he is citing "ill-health" as the reason for his resignation.
Rumour has it that May is calling every cabinet member for a face to face chat today.
Update (1138 GMT): UK PM May said to have appointed Chris Grayling as chairman of the Conservative party. This according to BBC political editor, Laura Kuenssberg - citing two sources but without official confirmation.
