I posted back on Monday that September 9 is North Korea foundation day, "Day of the Foundation of the Republic"
And as part of the celebrations there is a heightened probability of a missile launch or some such action. South Korea's President Moon warned of pretty much the same yesterday.
From their morning note today, National Australia Bank note:
- North Korea is expected to launch an ICBM on Saturday to help celebrate their country's founding. This is likely to add a bid to safe haven currencies into the weekend.
North Korea has made Monday mornings so much more interesting :-D
