NBC News reporting that Democrat candidate Lamb has done it
The absentee ballots are coming in, and the latest is from Washington County that has Lamb winning 607-549 over Saccone.
So far, there are plenty of news doing the rounds on Twitter but it is said that with absentee ballots from Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties all in, Lamb has an unassailable lead with only 300 ballots left to be counted in Greene County.
On paper, the victory for the Democrats here may be inconsequential as the district will seize to exist in its current form after November but this is more of a swing of the tide and a huge blow to the morale in Trump's camp ahead of the mid-term elections later this year.
This was a district that Trump won back in 2016 by almost 20 points.
Interested to see if we'll be hearing of more people getting fired today.
