Eurogroup head and Dutch finance minister Dijsselbloem out with a statement 11 Oct
- will stand down as Dutch fin min as of 25 Oct

Dijsselbloem's Labour party was heavily defeated in the 15 March election and will not be part of the new govt agreed this week after months of coalition talks.
The new govt takes office in around 2 weeks time hence the announcement but he continues to serve out his term as head of the Eurogroup.
"I am leaving Dutch politics. It is not easy. I have reached the conclusion that in this position, this stage, I don't have the fire power."
