Trump and Kelly have settled on a truce

The WSJ reports that Kelly made some cryptic comments earlier this week that left staff thinking he was the next to go but a meeting yesterday cleared the air.

From the WSJ:

"On Thursday, Messrs. Trump and Kelly had a productive meeting that left both men reassured. Mr. Trump told advisers afterward that Mr. Kelly was "100% safe." Mr. Kelly told his associates that, at least for the moment, he and the president had patched things up. "I'm in," Mr. Kelly told staff."

There is no word what was discussed but my guess is that Kelly threatened to quit, made some demands and Trump agreed.
