More ECB members touching on the EUR exchange rate following Villeroy's comments overnight and Constancio earlier.
It appears to be sensitive times for the euro, with a host of ECB members seeking to jawbone it a little one way or another. EUR/USD is now at 1.2223, dropping a little earlier to about 1.2215 after the comments.
Meanwhile, the European Ombudsman has urged ECB president Mario Draghi to give up membership to the Group of 30 - warning that further meetings with the group may constitute to "maladministration". Just a minor one, no further details on that yet.
