A preview of the calendar in European trading later today

Howdy, everyone! Hope you're all doing fine today. With all the headline risk that is going on lately, don't forget that we still have economic data to comb through as well.

And don't forget that we also will have the Bank of Canada (today), European Central Bank (tomorrow), and Bank of Japan (Friday) meetings to come too. To round off the week, we'll get US non-farm payrolls as well!

Anyway, here's what is coming up later in Europe:

0745 GMT - France January trade and current account balance

Prior figures can be found here. Not a significant data point by any means.

0800 GMT - SNB February foreign currency reserves

Prior release can be found here. Similarly not a data point that the market focuses on, just for information.

0830 GMT - UK February Halifax house price index

Prior figures can be found here. A glimpse into the UK housing market, not a major data point but provides a general sentiment of the UK economy.

1000 GMT - Eurozone Q4 final GDP data

Provisional figures can be found here. Not expected to be a market mover unless the print skews heavily against the provisional and preliminary readings.

1200 GMT - US MBA mortgage applications w.e. 2 March

Weekly US housing data, measures the change in number of applications for mortgages backed by the MBA during the week. Not the biggest of data points, but a general indicator of the housing sector sentiment.

In between we may also expect some Chinese data on trade balance, imports, exports, and FX reserves for the month of February - though there is no scheduled time for that.

That's about it on the session, I hope you all have a great day ahead and as always, good luck with your trading!
