A preview of what's to come in European trading later

Good day, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we head into the final session of the trading week. It's been a jumpy trading week to say the least, with headline risk taking over for the most part.

But we still have economic data to round off the week, so let's dive right into it:

0700 GMT - Germany January trade and current account balance

Prior figures can be found here. Seasonality suggests that the trade balance figure should remain similar to prior month or a little lower, but not a major data point that will move markets.

0700 GMT - Germany January industrial production data

Prior release can be found here. Just look out for the y/y figures, they'll provide a general indicator of industrial sentiment in the German economy. A minor data point.

0745 GMT - France YTD January budget balance

0745 GMT - France January industrial and manufacturing production data

Prior releases can be found here and here respectively. Not major data points, but again another indicator of overall sentiment.

0800 GMT - Spain January industrial production data

Prior figures can be found here. Similar to German and French figures, it'll provide a general indicator of industrial sentiment in the Eurozone.

0900 GMT - Italy January PPI figures

Prior report can be found here. Not an important release by any means, as it is a lagging one and we already had Eurozone figures earlier last month already.

0930 GMT - UK January trade balance

0930 GMT - UK January industrial, manufacturing production & construction output

Prior releases can be found here and here respectively. Not exactly blockbuster data points, but may have a relatively minor impact to the market depending on the data release.

1200 GMT - UK February NIESR GDP estimate

Prior report can be found here. Also not a major data point but may have some market reaction as it does portray UK growth figures, which is an important point of focus in the BOE's case for a rate hike this year.

That's all for the day in terms of data. But later on we'll also have BOJ Kuroda's press conference at 0630 GMT following the BOJ decision earlier here, and at 0830 GMT there's ECB's Couere and Lautenschlager speaking at a strategic high-level meeting on "Cyber Resilience for Pan-European Financial Market Infrastructures" organised by the ECB.

And don't forget that we will also have US non-farm payrolls later in the US session too! I wish you all the best of days ahead, and as always, good luck with your trading!
