A few high profile items on the calendar today in Asia
2145 GMT kick off with New Zealand Q3 CPI
- expected 0.4% q/q, prior 0.0%
- expected 1.8%, prior 1.7%
The RBNZ would like to see inflation a little higher. Dunno if that is a desire shared by New Zealand consumers but there you go. On the plus side, at least they've got Winston Peters. ;-)
I'll be back with previews separately on this.
2230 GMT - Australia - weekly consumer sentiment. prior 113.8
0030 GMT - Reserve Bank of Australia October meeting minutes. I'll be back with previews separately on this.
0030 GMT - Australia - new vehicle sales
0030 GMT - Reserve Bank of Australia again! Panel participation by Luci Ellis, Assistant Governor (Economic), at the 9th Annual Australian & New Zealand Investment Conference. Ellis is always worth paying attention to. A smart cookie indeed.
And, as a ps. During London time it'll be the GDT (Dairy) auction I'll pop up more on this a little later too.
