Latest results of a Bloomberg survey on economists on the BOE

The results show that the BOE is expected to vote unanimously (9-0) to keep the bank rate steady at 0.50% this week - while the percentage of economists predicting a rate hike for May has climbed to 54%.

The OIS market is currently pricing in only a 62.4% for a move in May, but according to Bloomberg, money market data has investors assigning more than a 80% probability that there will be a rate hike by May.

Yesterday's "positive" developments on the Brexit front opens up the door for the BOE to move, and as long as there is some support from economic data over the next two months, it does look increasingly likely that a May hike is well and truly in the works.
