European equities open firmer on the day - 12 Dec 2017

Most indexes are higher on the open, opposite of what we had in Asia closing

• Eurostoxx up 0.1%
• German DAX up 0.1%
• FTSE up 0.1% (after initially down 0.4% on the opening minute)
• CAC 40 up 0.2%
• FTSE MIB up 0.2%
• IBEX up 0.2%

As the futures market pointed out earlier, a more positive tone for European stocks to start the day.

Very different to how Asian equity markets fared during the day of course. Looks like European traders/investors are taking a page out of the US book yesterday.
