Spain's Ibex only index lower today
The European stock indices are ending mostly higher on the day.
- German Dax rose 0.8%
- France's Cac rose 0.5%
- UK FTSE rose 0.5%
- Spain Ibex fell -0.5%
- Italy FTSE Mib rose 0.73%
- Portugal PSI20 rose 0.51%
In the 10 year not sector, yields are mixed:
- Germany 0.579%, up 1 bp
- France 0.20%, up 0.4 basis points
- UK 1.482%, up 3.7%
- Spain 1.304%, down -3.7 basis points
- Italy 1.895%, -7.1 basis points
- Portugal 1.73%, -1.6 basis points
In other markets as the London and European traders look to exit for the day shows:
- Spot gold $-5.79 or -0.44% at $1311
- The Saudi princes in the US, and oil prices are higher by $1.32 or 2.13% at $63.38
- Bitcoin just broke above a topside trend line on the hourly chart at $8600 and now trades up to $8784, up $360 on the day.
In the forex market, the USD has gotten stronger since the early NY snapshot and is the strongest currency at the moment. The EURUSD is trading at new session lows. The NZD is the weakest currency.
