German economy minister Brigitte Zypries with more comments on the trade front
- Tariffs will make life tough for "our companies"
- Tariffs announcement is protectionism that hits close partners hard
- "We will, in close coordination with the European Commission give a considered but clear response"
Among all the European countries so far, Germany appears to be the most vocal of them. Zypries also made earlier comments on the matter yesterday here.
Still more of the same so far, we're yet to see any concrete form of retaliation or counter-measures from any other countries yet towards the tariffs.
