Hurricane Irma hits Florida keys at Category 4 storm, but expected to weaken

Winds at 130 mph but some weakening expected

Irma will hit southern Florida later today.

The forecast track will take the storm up the west coast of Florida, according to the latest NHC advisory.

"On the forecast track, the eye of Irma should move over the Lower Florida Keys shortly, and then move near or over the west coast of the Florida Peninsula later today through tonight. Irma should then move inland over northern Florida and southwestern Georgia Monday afternoon."

At this point, the storm is looking much less-damaging than feared before markets closed on Friday. That could lead to a relief rally in the US dollar when markets open later.
