Still some uncertainty surrounding the matter after earlier news said that finance minister Taro Aso is unsure whether he will be attending the G20 meeting in Buenos Aires later this month.
Meanwhile, USD/JPY has just touched session highs of 106.81 as yen pairs slide on the session. No news cited so far, but the Nikkei also touched session highs on the day following the lunch break - now up by 0.45% on the day.
