As per a report from CNBC

CNBC is reported from a source that Larry Lindsey is being considered for the Vice Chair role.

Lindsey served as a Fed Governor from November 1991 to February 1997. Lindsey warned then Chair Greenspan of a stock market bubble in 1996. He argued that the Federal Reserve had an obligation to prevent the stock market bubble from growing out of control. His prediction ultimately was proven correct but his timing was off (the dot.com bubble started to crash in 2000).

Lindsey also served as an economic adviser in the Reagan and George W. Bush administrations. He helped to formulate President Bush's 1.3 trillion tax cut plan.

More recently Lindsey has been the chief executive officer of the Lindsey Group
