Litecoin founder/creator Charlie Lee with a Twitter and Reddit post saying that he has donated and sold all his LTC holdings
He says that he is not quitting Litecoin, and that he has given up his LTC holdings because of a conflict of interest to hold LTC and tweet about it at the same time (due to his influence as the founder/creator).
He says that the amount of coins that he sold was a small % of the GDAX's (Coinbase's online exchange) daily volume and in no way did it crash the market.
Litecoin began the month at just about $88 and has jumped over 7,000% this year to above $300. Based on coinmarketcap.com, the price of Litecoin is trading at $330.14 today.
