Tech stocks under pressure. Financials fall with yields
The US stocks fell in trading today with the tech heavy Nasdaq leading the fall.
- The S&P fell -5.59 points or -0.22% to 2496.64
- The Nasdaq tumbled -56.328 points or -0.88% to 6370.593 . This was the worst perfomance since August 17th.
- The Dow fell -53.77 points or -0.24% to 22295.75
Some of the high flying tech stocks led the way lower:
- Facebook fell -4.50%
- Nvidia fell -4.47%
- Apple fell another -0.88% as concerns about demand for the new iPhones and Apple Watch are a concern
- Mega-retailer Amazon fell -1.60%
- China's Alibaba fell-4.80%
The bank stocks were also lower as yields fell on the back of a flight into the safety of US debt market.

- JP Morgan fell -0.75%
