Tokyo's main index closes higher on the day as Asian stocks bounce back

The positive closes from US and European equities overnight is lifting the mood in Asia today, as stocks are bouncing back strongly. The close sees the Nikkei rebound back above the 200-day MA (blue line), and will give equity investors some form of relief.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng is up by 1.68% on the day, Shanghai Composite up by 0.73%, CSI 300 up by 0.81%, Kospi up by 1.54%. Earlier, Australia's ASX 200 closed the day 1.14% higher at 5,962.40.
