It's a lunar eclipse today

A partial lunar eclipse today that's visible in most of the world. It begins in about 90 minutes.

Of course, it's a preamble to the total solar eclipse on Aug 21 that will be dominating headlines around that time.

As for what it means for markets, you'll have to consult your astrologist, but a cursory look says a lunar eclipse tends to pull people in different directions and that's how I feel about the US dollar at the moment.
