WTI touches a high of $62.53 per barrel on the day

Oil prices are steadily heading higher on the back of improved risk sentiment, and equities in Asia continue to reflect that today. The Nikkei is up by 1.72% currently, and that's giving a nod to oil traders to buy up the commodity.

WTI sees prices rebound close to 7.7% from the lows posted on 9 February while Brent is also trading at session highs at $65.41 currently.
