Took straw poll of Senate members at meeting yesterday...
Politico is reporting that Trump is not ready to announce a new Fed chair this week at least.
Yesterday, the Pres reportedly took a straw poll at his tax reform meeting with John Taylor supposedly the winner. The problem is he might be more hawkish and Trump likes low rates (being a big debt user throughout his real estate business career).
So perhaps it is time to ask Ivanka and Donald Jr their thoughts and then make the decision on whether Yellen is fired or not.
