Shares of Amazon are going crazy
Tech is absolutely on fire today and nothing is hotter than Amazon, which is up 12%. They closed at $972 yesterday and are trading at $1087 -- a $115 gain -- and topping the July intraday high of $1083.
Jeff Bezos has made almost $10 billion today. I'm guessing that's literally the most a single person has ever made in a single day.
The talk is that he's going after pharmacies next.
He is going to dismantle every consumer-facing industry and doesn't even care if his company makes money. It's trading at a 300x multiple.
