They say that Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has mentioned that he will discuss US steel tariffs at the G7 meeting in June. He was cited in saying that Canada had only been granted a temporary waiver on US steel import tariffs and does not believe that the trade issues involving the US have been resolved yet.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in Quebec, Canada on 8-9 June.
Trudeau was speaking to South Korea's president Moon Jae-In earlier in the day.
