Trump spoke with Xi today on North Korea
That's a good sign that Trump isn't going to follow through on his ridiculous threat to cut off all trade with anyone who does business with North Korea.
Trump touched on a handful of issues at the same time:
- Believes Congress wants a deal on DACA and said he will sign it if there is one
- Would like to see border security and DACA measures in an immigration deal
- Says he has a feeling they won't need to revisit DACA in six months because Congress wants to do something about it
There have been a few pieces of good news for the dollar today but it's up just 45 pips against the yen. You would hope for more, but maybe that's a sign.
