• The weekly US initial jobless claims fell to 221K from 230K last week. The expectations were for a higher 232K. Better than expectations.
• The continuing claims came in at 1923K versus 1940K expected. Last week was revised slightly higher to 1956K from 1953K.
• The four-week average fell to 224.5k versus 234.5K

Good numbers for jobs once again, but the initial reaction is limited.
