- US has told UN Security Council that it intends to call a meeting on Monday to vote on a draft resolution establishing additional sanctions on NK
- US wants UN to impose an oil embargo on NK, ban its exports of textiles and the hiring of NK labourers abroad
- wants to subject NK leader Kim Jon Un to an asset freeze and travel ban
Reuters say they saw the draft resolution last Wednesday.
Last Tuesday saw Russian president Putin cast a broadside or two toward the US desire to impose more sanctions.
Thursday saw a variety of other comments from world leaders.
