US government's chief watchdog barely mentions about cryptocurrencies in its latest report

The Financial Stability Oversight Board believes that the impact that cryptocurrencies may have on financial stability is very limited.

They acknowledge that it presents a regulatory challenge to keep tabs on cryptocurrencies, since the data storage is decentralised, but they say that these "virtual currencies are only used by a small number of consumers".

Pretty much saying, we'll talk about it when it gets big enough.
