USD selling plus CHF and JPY demand the story of the last hour or so 9 Nov
In that time we've seen USD sellers prevail with USDJPY falling to 113.25 from 113.55, USDCHF down to 0.9645 from 0.9685 and USDCAD 1.2690 from 1.2730. It's EURUSD though that's captured the attention making solid gains and set to post biggest daily rise in 2 weeks. Yes folks, it really has been that quiet lately.
But it's not a euro demand story even though EURGBP buying has once again put pressure on GBPUSD along with GBPJPY supply. Even so we've seen GBPUSD back up to 1.3125 .
Moreover we've seen EURCHF down to 1.1575 from 1.1615 and EURJPY down to 131.50 from 132.20 before finding some demand again as core pairs both run into buyers.
Talk of some re-positioning ahead of US tax reform announcements
