Up from the prior month 0.1% gain. The prior month was revised sharply lower to 0.1% from 0.5%
The good news from the construction spending is it was higher than expected. The expectation was supposed to be down -0.2% on the month but came in up 0.3%. The bad news is the prior month was revised lower to 0.1% from 0.5% previously reported.

- Public spending rose 2.6%
The data points tend to have it's share of ups and downs from time to time, but in 2017, the high has been lower than the last few years, and the low is also lower.
