Stocks spooked by Mueller investigation (again)
The US stocks were not flying (especially the broad indices) but there was an afternoon Mueller subpoena of Trump organization documents in their Russian investigation, and sellers marked down prices.
- S&P ends down -2.15 points or -0.08% at 2747.33
- Nasdaq ends down -15.06 points or -0.20% at 7481.74.
- Dow industrial average rose 115.54 or 0.47% but was up above 295 points at the highs the day. The index is closing at 24873.66.
Some winners today included:
- Alibaba, up 3.4%
- Broadcom, +2.75%,
- McDonalds, up 2.15%
- Caterpillar, up 1.34%
- IBM, up 0.95%
- AMD, up 0.88%
Some losers today include:
- Chicago Bridge and Iron, -2.21%
- Twitter -2.16%
- Intel, -1.89%
- Celgene, -1.86%
- Micron, -1.56%
