We'll be getting a couple of Bank of England speakers today but none are part of the MPC

Here is what's on the agenda:

0700 GMT - BOE PRA head Sam Woods speaks at a breakfast briefing

Woods will be speaking in a briefing with the Whitehall & Industry Group. He will be discussing how the BOE pursues its priorities for prudential regulation against a backdrop of change and uncertainty. Not expected to have any monetary policy comments.

0820 GMT - BOE payments director Andrew Hauser speaks on a panel in London

Hauser will be speaking at the SWIFT business forum. Also not expected to contain any comments on monetary policy. Here is what Hauser will be discussing on:

1035 GMT - BOE chief cashier Victoria Cleland moderates a panel in London

Cleland will be moderating a panel on the cashless future and death of paper currency at the International Financial Services Forum. Similarly, not expected to have any comments on monetary policy.

1310 GMT - BOE PRA head Sam Woods speaks in London

Woods will be making a second appearance as he will be speaking on global regulation at the International Financial Services Forum. Doesn't sound like one that will contain comments on monetary policy as well.

All in all, rather boring topics on the agenda by the BOE speakers today. Also to note, none of the speakers today are part of the monetary policy committee - so they have no say in the monetary policy votes.

But on Friday we will have BOE governor Mark Carney as he will be speaking at the launch of the bank's EconoME programme - scheduled for 1400 GMT.
