USD continues to be mixed

As London/European traders look to exit for the day, the NZD remains the strongest, while the CAD is now the weakest. Weaker YoY Canada inflation and disappointing retail sales ex autos, pushed the CAD lower this morning.

The USD remains mixed with gains vs the EUR, GBP and CAD and declines vs the NZD and CHF. The greenback is near unchanged vs. the JPY and the AUD.

In other markets as London/European traders head for the exits are showing:

  • Spot gold up $0.94 or +0.07% at $1291.59
  • WTI crude oil is down -$0.20 or -0.28% at $71.27
  • US stocks are mixed. The S&P is down -0.15%. The Nasdaq is down -0.15%. The Dow is up +0.07%
  • US yields are lower: 2 year 2.546%, down -1.8 bps. 5 year 2.896%, down -3.9 bps. 10 year 3.076%, down -3.5 bps. 30 year 3.218%, down -2.8 bps
  • Bitcoin on Coinbase is trading down again today. It is down -$113 at $8089. The low extended to $7927. The high reached $8202.
