Review

In the financial trading world, it is a jungle. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not being honest, and probably does not have your best interests at heart. That includes some brokers, who promise easy results and avoid the fact that trading success requires dedication, hard work, and a solid strategy. In addition to all that a good trader needs to be able to tell a good broker from a bad broker.

Titan FX is a forex and CFD broker offering both ECN and STP execution that gives clients the best trading conditions for their style of trading. No matter what clients get fast executions, deep liquidity, and professional grade spreads.

In the following review of Titan FX we will have a look at some of the most important aspects to consider before choosing Titan FX as your broker.

Quick Look

Titan FX is proud of its technology and claims that its Zero Point technology allows traders access to markets that was previously only available to institutional traders at the world’s top financial institutions. Zero Point technology means traders get deep liquidity, fast execution, and excellent trading conditions.

Plus the broker offers the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms. These are our personal favorites, and we always tend to prefer a broker where we can use MT4 or MT5 in our trades.

Some other notable features include a $200 account minimum, 500:1 leverage, and two different account types that can provide either no commissions or spreads starting at 0.0 pips.

As a quick look things are looking pretty good at Titan FX. Let’s get a closer look at some of the details.

Titan FX Quick Look

Regulations

Titan FX is regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Committee (VFSC) with license number 40313, by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (FSC) under licence GB20026097, the Financial Services Authority of the Seychelles (FSA) as #SD138, and the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVIFSC) under #2080481.

For added client security, Titan FX maintains Client Segregated Trust Accounts for each currency that clients trading accounts are based in. Account segregation of this type clearly distinguishes client funds from company operational funds giving Titan FX clients additional security and protection when compared to other brokers.

That said, Titan FX is clear on their website that they are unable to accept any United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Vanuatu residents.

Account Types

Unlike many other brokers who have five or more tiers for their accounts Titan FX has just two basic account types for their retail trading clients. Clients can choose between these two accounts easily based on the trading conditions they desire. The Zero Standard account is an STP account that offers spread as low as 1 pip and no commissions on any trades. The Zero Blade account is an ECN account that does have a commission, but also offers spreads that are as low as 0.0 pips. The blade account is ideal for EA traders, scalpers, and day traders.

Aside from the differences already mentioned everything else is the same for these two account types. They both have a $200 minimum deposit, and they both offer flexible leverage of up to 500:1. Both also use the same MT4 or MT5 platform, and both have access to the same set of assets.

Titan FX Account Types

In 2022 the broker released a Micro version of its Standard Account, to allow traders to use lots as small as O,1 on forex and 0,01 on precious metals and crypto, with leverage up to 1000:1 and spreads as low as 0,5 pip.

In addition to these retail accounts there is a corporate account available. And the broker also offers a demo account that can be used to test out the trading conditions, or to test out trading strategies before risking real money.

Available Assets

Titan FX has over 170 individual assets available, with the bulk of these being forex pairs. There are over 60 different forex pairs offered that stretch from the well known major pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc) to the minor pairs (EUR/GBP, AUD/NZD, etc) to the exotic pairs (EUR/SGD, GBP/TRY, etc).

Recently Titan FX has expanded their offerings, including CFDs on 65 individual shares. That is a great start and hopefully new shares will be added regularly.

In addition to the forex pairs and shares traders can also access cryptocurrencies, precious metal and energy contracts, as well as 21 of the top global indices. All trade as CFDs, making them very convenient to trade.

Trading Platforms

Titan FX offers the two best-known trading platforms – MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Desktop versions of both are available for both Windows and Mac PCs, while mobile versions of both are available for Android and iOS devices. In addition, there is a WebTrader version of MetaTrader 4 available, which is a web-based version that does not require installation. Instead it allows traders to connect to their accounts and trade using any modern web browser for the ultimate in convenience.

The MetaTrader family of trading platforms is well known for the powerful indicators and trading tools they put into the hands of traders. Plus, the Expert Advisors that are included in these platforms allow for automated trading. Traders using these EAs can also benefit from the Virtual Private Servers offered through Titan FX, which ensure that trader’s accounts are always connected and trading.

In addition, Titan FX also has ongoing partnerships with ZuluTrade and SignalTrader through which its clients are able to engage in social and copy trading. ZuluTrade allows you to provide or copy trading signals from other traders.

Plus, money managers can take full advantage of the Multi-Account Manager (MAM) platform to trade all their client accounts through one interface.

Banking

There are a number of methods for depositing at Titan FX, which include credit and debit cards, Bitwallet for Bitcoin deposits, Neteller and Skrill, Sticpay, and local Japanese bank transfers. In addition, deposits are always free of fees.

Withdrawals can be conducted through all the same channels and are largely free from fees as well. The exception is Neteller and Skrill, where there is a 3.75% transaction fee. Withdrawals are processed by Titan FX within 1 business day, however funds could take longer to appear in client accounts based on the individual merchant processing.

Customer Service

Customer service is provided via a number of channels which include online chat, telephone, email, and online web form. There are also social media channels and an online FAQ that can be used to answer most basic questions. Clients can reach out to support 24/5 on Monday through Friday, but there is no weekend support while markets are closed.

In Conclusion

Titan FX offers a solid platform for trading in forex pairs, shares, cryptocurrencies and index CFDs. There are also a handful of commodities offered.

Clients are protected through the broker’s regulation by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission and has added protections in the form of account segregation.

MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are offered as the trading platforms, which is welcome, as is the addition of ZuluTrade and Signal Trader. It is also great to see that nearly all banking transactions are free of fees.

Due to regulatory limitations, Titan FX does not provide its services to residents of the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and Vanuatu residents.

Overall, not a bad broker to trade with, particularly if you are interested in forex, shares, and global indices.
