I noted earlier what we have coming up from the RBA and RBNZ this week (here: Central bank activity coming up in Australia and New Zealand this week)
Elsewhere:
- New York Fed president Bill Dudley heads up an Economic Club of New York meeting at 1600GMT today.
- Ahead of the June 16-17 FOMC meeting, though, otherwise the Federal Reserve is in media blackout mode until then.
- From the ECB, we get Yves Mersch, member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank speaking at a conference from 0600GMT on Tuesday. German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble will be speaking as the same conference.
The Bank of England's Governor Carney speak on Wednesday from 1945GMT at Mansion House. You might remember his speech at the same venue last year, when he dropped this gem:
Nice one! Red Bloomberg headline ... these, errrr, tend to move markets (and it did ...).
Carney's speech will be watched closely by the market to see if history repeats.
