Headline gooses USDJPY higher
A comment from BOJs Kuroda that he "did not revise inflation outlook" for Japan in Davos.
The headline has sent the USDJPY up to 109.00 from 108.40 area.
Technically, the price has corrected about 50% off the days range on the spike higher (50% at 109.019). The price is back down at 108.743.
It is Friday. Anything can happen, but the BOJ seems to not like the path that the strengthening JPY was on, and have slowed it's rise - at least for now.
