With housing starts out of the way, USD/CAD edged to a session low at 1.0967.
The Bank of Canada decision is at 1400 GMT (10 am ET) with a press conference 30 minutes later. Expectations are low for any kind of policy shift but there could be a mediocre effort to talk down the Canadian dollar.
