I’m ashamed to say that I’ve not paid as much attention to the situation in Hungary as I should, but the ECB is on the case, expressing concern over a draft law that could limit the independence of the Hungarian central bank.
Hungary has been hobbled by large segments of the population having mortgage loans denominated in super-strong CHF which has impaired the banks and the economy….
