A few weeks ago a Fed report said the average household will save more than $600 due to near-record-low nat gas prices. It’s something that hasn’t gotten nearly the same amount of attention as gasoline. Going forward, the cheap nat gas effect will do nothing for consumers while gas prices will bite harder in summer, when gasoline consumption is highest.
